Our story – about Malcolm West Forklifts

Based in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, Malcolm West has been at the forefront of materials handling since 1956.

Malcolm West is a long-established independent forklift distributor serving customers across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the wider UK market.

The business has represented Mitsubishi and also supplies equipment from Combilift, Aisle Master, Robur and Kärcher, backed by parts, service and aftersales support.

Sales experience and detailed product knowledge are used to match the truck specification to the application rather than simply supply a machine.

Four generations of the West family

The West name has been associated with Hull since 1956. The family business began in the building trade before concentrating on forklift trucks, and has continued through four generations.

With depots in Hull and Immingham, the team supports the full equipment lifecycle: new and used sales, hire, repairs, servicing, training, transport and replacement.
